We're pleased to welcome Dawn Addis. Her topic is “Legislative Priorities for 2023”. Dawn Addis was elected in 2022 to the California State Assembly to represent the 30th Assembly District. A special education teacher, she began teaching more than 20 years ago. Dawn earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in special education from San Francisco State University and has teaching credentials in elementary education, secondary education and special education. She is fluent in Spanish. Dawn's record of community involvement includes co-founding the Women's March in San Luis Obispo and being a Planned Parenthood Central Coast Action Fund board member. In 2018, she won her first elected office, Morro Bay City Council, and served from 2018 to 2022. Dawn and her husband Marcus have raised two children on the Central Coast and they have one rescue cat named Oppenheimer.

The fee for the in-person meeting, including lunch, is $40. Lunch includes a salad and sandwich buffet, coffee and dessert.

Attendance on Zoom is free but registration is required. The Zoom link will be sent in an email following registration.
