The League of Women Voters is an all-volunteer organization, and most of our work is done in the committee setting. The committees are comprised of hard-working members who work together to accomplish important things in our community, state and nation. By joining a committee you will be meeting new friends with the shared vision of making democracy work for all citizens.

The Voter Service Committee facilitates candidate forums, shares objective information about candidates and issues, registers voters, and provides education to the public via webinars. If you want to work for voting rights and voter education, this might be the place for you.   To learn more or volunteer for this committee, contact Julie Rodewald at

The Natural Resources Committee actively tracks major environmental issues countywide. In addition to updates on these local issues, the committee periodically produces webinars that increase awareness of vital issues. This committee has enormous potential and influence. If you are concerned about our natural environment and would like to help, contact Neil Havlik at

The Social Policy Committee addresses issues including Housing & Homelessness and Criminal Justice. Both are complex issues that significantly impact the health and safety of our communities.
