Whether you reach your destination by walking, riding or driving, you will want to know what the plans are for the future of transportation in SLO County. At the upcoming Lunch with the League on Wednesday, March 8, you can find out what proposals are being made for the next 20 years for commuters in both the cities and rural areas of San Luis Obispo County. The presentation by James Worthley of San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) will highlight the plans for the 2023 Regional Transportation Plan, identifying transportation needs and providing a vision for future growth and development in the County through the year 2045. Join us at noon on March 8 and learn what options, strategies, and investments are being considered.
The presentation will be hosted by Kim Murry, co-chairperson of the LWV SLOCO Natural Resources Committee.
