Opening Meeting Barbeque Luncheon!

Let’s start our League year with some fun! We have a big election coming up so let’s be social and enjoy ourselves before we get immersed in the election season.
Please join us Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Dairy Creek Picnic area in El Chorro Regional Park from 10 am -2 pm for a LWV SLOCO Barbecue. The Osos/Baywood and the SLO Kiwanis clubs will man the barbecue -- tri tip sandwiches, beans, and salad. Dessert and non-alcoholic drinks will also be provided.
The price of $30 per person includes admission to the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden and a docent-led private tour of the gardens. The People's Place of Roots, featuring plants of historic and cultural significance to the Chumash who have inhabited this part of California for more than 10,000 years, is currently under construction but is open for viewing.
Registration will close on Sept 10, 2024.
