The League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County Announces Officers and Directors for 2025 – 2027
San Luis Obispo, CA – The League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County recently announced officers and directors for 2025-2027. Officers are Janice Langley, 1st vice president (San Luis Obispo), Kim Gravell, 2nd vice president (Nipomo), Joanne Schultz, secretary (Pismo Beach), and Wendy Brown, treasurer (San Luis Obispo). Members of the board of directors are Jacquie Canfield (Cayucos), Ed Cabrera (San Luis Obispo) Nancy Clark (Pismo Beach), Anne Quinn (Atascadero), Glenn Silloway (Morro Bay), Straith Smith-Zanartu (Atascadero), and Karen Venditti (Los Osos).
The League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County is a nonpartisan, grassroots civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the League is open to people 16 years and older, of all gender identities. With more than 100 years’ experience, the League is one of America’s oldest and most trusted civic nonprofit organizations.
During the 2025 – 2027 biennium the League will provide voter education and election services leading up to the primary and general elections in 2026. League educational programs and advocacy will focus on civic education, information literacy, housing and homelessness, environmental stewardship, climate resiliency, immigration, and civil rights.
